You already have a Merchant Center account, and want to know how to create your feed.
First, if you don’t know how to work with data-base, or how to extract data from you website you most certain need a specialist to help you.
But, assuming you already know all that, creating a feed for Merchant Center (Shopping Ads) it’s pretty simple.
All you need is to create a feed (Google Spreadsheet, upload it to your account through SFTP, FTP, Google Cloud Storage, or a manual upload, Content API) with the information that Google asks you.
You can create a Google Spreadsheet template from your Merchant Center account. But be sure you follow the exact order of the specifications. Be careful that each country or product type has other requirements.
You will certainly need to provide:
- Product ID
- Product Title
- Product Description
- Product URL
- Image URL
- Product Price
- An Unique Identifier
And a few more informations depending on your product category.
To upload the feed follow the steps:
Go to Products from the left Menu Tab and Select Feeds
- Click + button on the Primary Feeds tab
- Select the country of the sale and language
- Select the way you want to upload your feed
And you’re all done!
